
Application of TNA
Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is an important process of evaluating an organisation
knowledge and training requirements. Once completed an effective
TNA will assist in:-
- Training budgets by providing documented evidence of specific
business requirements.
- Ensuring that users receive the correct level of training.
- To regularly monitor employee’s progress in line with their
training plan.
- To assess user’s skill levels at interview stage. (An
evaluation in line with job specification is constructed.
- To construct and maintain skills. Good for staff.
- To assess the skill base of new staff when joining the organisation.
- To ensure that their skill base is in alignment with the position
they are being interviewed for.
